Hey, this is Schaler with the report for Wednesday afternoon at 1:20pm.
Inconsistent
and poor+ conditions.
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: This afternoon we have a modest, new, SW swell on the rise. Many breaks through town remain under knee high, as better breaks are good for knee-waist high surf, with standout exposures through town pulling in some inconsistent chest high sets. Conditions remain fairly clean as the tide fills in to a high just after 5pm.
This morning's dawn patrol: Clean, 0-1' traces.
Overcast with WSW winds 5-10kts.
This morning our new SW(200-215) groundswell fills in further. Unfortunately, many areas are still close to flat, with better breaks running in the knee-waist high zone, as standouts through town pulling in some inconsistent sets to chest high at times. Winds are light/variable making for clean conditions.
THURSDAY: SW swell fills in along with small WNW pulse, for knee-waist-chest high zone surf at the better breaks. Standouts see sets to shoulder high.
Wind: Light/variable early. Moderate WNW wind for the afternoon 9-12kts.
