Data

Russell and Devon began sampling at the Santa Cruz harbor on September 12, 2010. They collect a phytoplankton sample every two weeks, and identify and count phytoplankton species on a microscope when they return to school. This valuable data extends the time series begun by Kelly Chesus and Joanna Cocker, who collected phytoplankton samples weekly in the same location from September 2008 through January 2010.
